Commissioning of Gas Appliances
All gas installations for new and used gas appliances and gas fitting lines must be commissioned on installation. All of our gas plumbers carry the equipment required and are trained to commission all types, makes and models of gas appliances. Commissioning ensures your appliances operates as per manufacturers specifications and all manufacturers warranties are subject to appliances being commissioned by a licensed gas plumber and a Certificate of Compliance being issued for the installation. Commissioning involves setting up a manometer on the gas fitting line and testing the line to 1.5 times operating pressure. Any drop in pressure will indicate a leak in the fitting line or pipe fittings. The manometer is then installed at the appliance regulator and the burner pressure is set to the manufacturers specifications. Once commissioning is complete a Certificate of Compliance is used for the installation.
